Happy 4th of July!

Julian is officially nine months old. He has three top teeth and two bottom teeth. He cruises around the living room furniture and is crawling at "light" speed. We had to install baby gates after he decided it was time to scale the stairs. Just recently he has suffered some gastrointestinal problems. Apparently, he was allergic to something in Mom's milk. Mom went on an elimination diet (no dairy, soy, fish, eggs, gluten & peanuts) which did not work and as a result Julian is now taking the "million dollar" formula (very expensive) from a bottle! He has put on some much needed weight, but we still have more to gain.

This month Jay has been doing some work related travel so Julian and I thought we would get out of town and visit our family and friends. The last couple of weeks while in NC Julian stopped scooting and began to crawl; he is pulling up to a standing position and he has two more teeth!  He has also started eating a little more solid food which is a more recent development.  We will be returning home shortly and look forward to reuniting with Jay!

Better late than never!

We cannot believe that Julian is already six months old. Julian has been very busy lately and has been experiencing many firsts. He is sitting up, scooting, attempting to eat solid foods, and has two new bottom teeth! Therefore, he has done a good job of keeping us engaged and on our toes at all times. We are pretty sure that this will not get any easier, but he is a happy and content little guy so we could not ask for anything else!
We have had some guests visit us recently - Grammy Joanie (Jay's Mom) & Auntie Rita, Nana Ann (Hope's Mom) and Uncle Justin & Gina. We always love the visits and the good times we share.
So better late than never on this most recent post and hopefully we will update the blog again soon!
